RESERVATIONS

…and what to bring, how to schedule transportation etc.

We recommend early reservations, especially during busy Holiday travel times. Because we limit the number of animals we take during a given time period, we sometimes have No Vacancy.

New Client Reservations

If your dog has never vacationed with us before, we will need to gather some information about him/her, and possibly schedule a preliminary meet/greet visit.

To inquire about reservations for particular dates, please email us your request. We will get back to you within 24 hours. You can also try us by phone, but we are often out with the animals & it can be difficult to reach us this way!

Once we confirm that we have space for your requested time period,

we ask that you provide us information about your pet by filling out our new client questionnaire.

Repeat Visitor Reservation

Once your pet has stayed with us, we have your information and preferred itinerary on file. All you need to do is email us your dates. We will confirm availability within 24 hours.

What to Bring

Food

Please package your dogs FOOD in easy to store meals/portions. We only accept large bags of dog food for prolonged visits. The best way to send food is in plastic baggies, labeled with your dog’s name, a.m. or p.m. meal, and day. (Example: Rover, Tuesday a.m.)

Please package your dog’s medication in a labeled container or baggie with instructions. (Rover, joint supplement, 2X per day with meals.)

Beds

Be advised that doggie guests have been known to chew up and de-stuff beds. Dogs will sometimes invite friends to rest on their beds… this can be …”hairy”. Your bed may also get dirty, from busy paws or from a jealous canine friend who decides to “mark” the bed for his own!!  For these reasons, we no longer recommend that you send beds. We have easy to clean/impossible to destroy Kuranda beds for your dogs restful sleep. We will accept beds for elderly dogs, or post op dogs who will be on R&R.

Crates

We will accept small dogs’ & puppies’ crates with bedding inside, if you prefer your dog uses his/her crate. Please label all your belongings.

Toys

We have an abundance of safe toys. We do not recommend you send toys, and we do not guarantee their safe, unchewed return! Dogs who are accustomed to being in a crate with their own toys are allowed to have the toys in their crate.

Chewies

If your dog’s itinerary includes some private quiet time, you are welcome to send his/her favorite chewie treats. (Greenies, rawhide/ pig ears.)

Transportation

We offer a pick up and drop off service to many areas beyond our local towns from Monday through Friday.  We offer service to areas such as Acton, Concord, Lincoln, Littleton, Lexington, Newton, Needham, Waltham, Wellesley, Weston, Westford, MA and Hollis, NH.  We charge a small fee of ten dollars for this service.

If you need to schedule pick up or drop off over a weekend, the following rules apply: We do not offer “limo” service to the above areas on Weekends.

If you need to drop your dog off at the Dog’s Dream Inn, you may do so by pre-arrangement between 8 & 10 a.m. or 4 & 6 p.m. on Saturdays. We are CLOSED for pick up/drop on Sundays.

We offer free local limo service, serving the following areas Monday through Saturday: Groton, Pepperell, Townsend, Ashby, and Brookline, NH.

If you don’t see your town listed on our limo route, ask us for availability. We will try to include your town when we can, or we can make arrangements to meet at a convenient point on our route.

**If your dog gets car sick, please advise us ahead of time and please do NOT feed within three hours of pick up.****

**If your dog is aggressive to other dogs in the car, please discuss this with us. We may not be able to offer you limo service during busy pick up times.**
